Aitkin Machine & Manufacturing is a small family owned business.  We are committed to building strong, lasting relationships with our customers, while providing quality machined products at competitive rates.  We take great pride in what we do, and strive to meet and exceed all of our customers' expectations.

MEET THE OWNERS

Robert Leiviska - Co-owner / President

With over 44 years of machining experience (26 years of that including shop management experience consisting of fixture building and prototype programming and runs), Bob started machining in 1967.  He became a shop supervisor in 1982, in charge of all operations and training of employees on the new CNC equipment, and remained in that position until the forming of AMM in 2007.  With vast experience on CNC mills and lathes, as well as manual machinery, he oversees most of the shop's operations, and does much of the milling work, as well as quality control.  He also handles quotes for customers, and a majority of the customer relations.

James Leiviska - Co-owner / Secretary / Treasurer / Accounts Payable/Receivable

With over 24 years of machining experience, Jim started machining part-time in high school, and when he graduated in 1990, started as a full-time CNC lathe machinist.  He takes care of a large majority of the turning work on the CNC lathes, and quality control.  He also handles billing, payments and other financial aspects of the company.

Travis Leiviska - Co-owner / Vice President

With over 14 years of machining experience, Travis started machining part-time in high school, and when he graduated in 2000, started as a full-time CNC mill machinist.  He takes care of much of the milling work and quality control along with Robert.  He is also in charge of most tooling and supply ordering, some customer relations, and design/up keeping of the website.
